You could be very confused about makeup if you are new to it. What products should you buy and how should you apply them. It really is not surprising that people get a bit confused with all the choices that are available. So if you are new to makeup the following are a few tips to get you on the right track.
- It is very important to remember that you should not be trying to hide your features with makeup; you really should be aiming to highlight your best features instead. Highlighting your eyes is something you should concentrate on if you feel that they are your best feature. All you will have to do is apply a little bit of eyeliner and then your eyes will be highlighted effectively.
- It is very important to develop a good skincare routine as having good skin is very important when it comes to makeup. Make a point of using an exfoliating lotion regularly to remove any dead skin and a good skin cleaner is very important.
- You must make sure that you have properly cleansed your skin before applying makeup to it. If you apply to skin that is not clean, then the makeup will not look good and it won’t last long either.
- The point of applying blusher is to make it look as though you have a healthy glow. You do not want to look like a clown but this is what could happen if you were to apply too much blusher.
- These days fake tan is all the rage, but this is also something that you will want to use with care. Applying too much fake tan will mean that you don’t look natural at all and this is not a good look for anyone.
- It is important to apply your foundation before any other makeup. It is important that you find a foundation that is the same colour as your skin or else it won’t be very attractive looking.
When women venture out for the evening, they never leave the house without their make up. When it comes to makeup pieces though, the favorite are mascara and lip gloss. What all this comes down to is usually that a female knows her beauty will probably be enhanced by putting on makeup.

Makeup, hair, costume. I have pink wings ( I just have to find them) so I think that will be my main color. I have this cream colored tunic-y shirt that I might use, but I don’t know what bottoms to wear with it. I don’t want to wear leggings and it has to be school appropriate. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I was thinkng about being a broken paper doll or rag doll for Halloween.
I was going to be a dark fairy but too many people at my school is doing that. I have a black tutu (it’s kids size but it’s long on me cause I’m short lol) and purple fishnet leggings and gloves, and I have a purple button up plaid shirt. How should I do my makeup and what else should I do to make my costume more unique. And my inspiration for this is from the song Paperdoll by Kittie, so something that fits in with the song would be great.
I’m 15 btw and I was thinking about doing my hair in high piggytails or something like that.

I want something different and original for halloween this year. I always have what I think are awesome eloborate costumes that I make and each year, NO ONE gets who I am supposed to be. I was Jessica Rabbit one year and everyone thought I was the little mermaid. Poison Ivy one year and people thought I was a fairy. This year I was planning to be Jem from the 80′s cartoon Jem and the holigrams, but no one seems to know who she is! So here’s the deal: I want something that is NOT slutty and will be appropriate for work. I am OK with cheesy and corny….actually I may prefer it! I work with a wide variety of people of all ages so something everyone would get. I am also going to a party with a lot of my coworkers before Halloween so I would like to wear something a bit different. There will be kids at the party, including my own so again nothing risque but I can afford to do a bit more than I would do at work such as gory makeup. I have enough things in my closet I can probably make a costume out of and I don’t want to have to buy more than just accessories. My thoughts so far are either a wind-up doll or a hells angel. The wind up doll is pretty easy (foofy dress, rosy cheeks, key in back) but is it cute/original? The hells angel I have a few ideas of how to go about it, but am open to suggestion. All other ideas welcome!
