I’m a junior in hs and im going to be a fairy princess for halloween. i planned on wearing a black cami and a bright colored tutu/frilly skirt with wings, a tiara and wand. i’m not sure though if that’s too plain and if i need more. also what shoes should i wear for this? and should i wear leggings? if so, what color? thanks!

I’m 14 years old and i need a makeshift costume. I don’t have any idea what to be- but i know nothing girly like a fairy princess and whatnot. But nothing like a vampire or werewolf. I’m thinking of just wearing skinny jeans, converse, and lots of eyeliner and just being an emo kid. xD
anyway i need serious help. I wanna be like… Taylor Swift or some one of that sort. What should i do? Any suggestions for something else?
When I was in Kindergarten my mom for whatever reason did not get our costumes right away. There were 2 Kindergarten classes and each class got to get in a line and go to the other classroom. Because me and this one other kid didn’t have a costume, the teacher gave us a bag and we were to draw a face and she cut the eyes out and we were suppose to wear the bag over our heads. Needless to say she also put us in the back of the costume parade. I don’t think I was ever so humiliated in all my life.
My mom did buy our costumes that night and I was a fairy princess. This was back in the 60′s so I was also white.

I've always loved fairies, magical stories, and enchantment ever since I was a little girl, and now that I have my own little girl, well, maybe not so little any more :-)
I still enjoy seeing little girls dressed up and having fun in their own special fairy costume, which is why I created this site, and, plus, it will hopefully also keep me young. :-)
As any little girl knows, fairy costumes are magical for dressing up in and they never go out of fashion and are great to pass on to younger siblings.
