Halloweens coming up and I was thinking of being some kind of modern fairy. (Not the little kid tiara/tinkerbell thing) Any ideas on how to create this? I dont want to just go to some halloween store and buy the already made costume, I want to use actual clothes. If you have any other teen halloween costumes I’ll love that too!
im 13 but i really wanna be a fairy princess for halloween! where can i find a LEGIT fairy princess/ princess costume for halloween thats not slutty??? or how can i make a good costume with clothes i already have??
I’m going to a halloween party and I want to look cute but not too sexy….. nothing too short i want to stay away from skirts. These are what I thought of so far:
Mrs. Lovett- I love sweeney todd, but its too much work to try to look like her and some dull people might not know who mrs lovett is
Fairy- i have a pink skirt and wings from last year……
Greek goddess- still wasnt a great idea…
my favorite idea was being a redneck (its an inside joke with the kids at my school) bc i just moved to north carolina from florida so i tease them for being rednecks haha so i thought it would be ironic to be a redneck, and i think i own a big hillbilly straw hat from a couple halooweens ago. But at the same time, i want to make sure i dont like goofy as the other girls will probably be wearing something more "sexy".
any good ideas for me? i dont want to spend much money, and i prefer to make it myself or buy clothes from like a thrift store. And for my redneck idea, any ideas to make it look more "teenagerish"? i was thinking overall shorts and a cute no sleeved shirt…. idkk
Okay, so I’m in a play, like kind of a little kids play, even though I’m 14, but hey I like little kids plays and the kids are cool 
So, anyway, theres this director lady, and oooooohmyyylorrdy isn’t she interesting…
So we’re doing Pinocchio and I’m the blue fairy, and first of all she decided to make me wear a blonde wig. I have dark brown hair, with obviously matching eyebrows so it looked weiiiird and I asked why I had to, and she said "Because ALL fairies are blonde!" Since then I can’t stop realizing all the actresses in the world with blonde hair.. am I like a failure now? So then I put together and half-lameo costume (dude its a kid play, but it was still nice) and today, the DAY BEFORE the show, she looks at me and says "No, what your wearing won’t work. You look like a hippie-freak-fairy". And those were my actual clothes. Thanks. So then she shoves all this stuff at me like how I need this that and the other thing, but its the DAY BEFORE. I actually got her to let me not wear the wig because (literally) 4 parents and half the class told me it looked stupid on me (I totally agree) and I got the class to cheer for my not-wig-iness. So then I guess she decided she had been to nice to let me do something normal and NOT look like a freak, and she told me that "In real show biz" the director would "flip out" if I tried to disobey any of their orders. She said that NORMAL directors would NEVER let me do things like that. She said it with an undertone of "you suck and I’m better than you because I’m old". Whats also funny is that she acted like I’d NEVER done a play, but oh, funny, I’ve done 11! And at least 3 of them were actual like teen productions with music and dancing and singing and crap!! But none of the other directors I ever did a play with had a problem with me!!! I KNOW how shows are run and this lady is CRAAAAAZY!!! Not to mention her down talking me and her I-should-be-blonde thing, and when I missed a rehearsal because she changed the time on me, didn’t email me, and claimed that she did, I showed up afterward the first thing she said was "I made a GREAT blue fairy!" shes telling me to be niiice and loving and I should be more motherly and can I at least ACT like I’m nice?!! (She said that). She even told me I was throwing f***ing fairy dust wrong.
HOW CAN I GET THROUGH THESE NEXT 2 SHOWS WITHOUT MURDERING HER BRAIN!!!! Please give me advice on how to deal with her! I almost cried today I am SO F***ing angry you have NOO idea.

I've always loved fairies, magical stories, and enchantment ever since I was a little girl, and now that I have my own little girl, well, maybe not so little any more :-)
I still enjoy seeing little girls dressed up and having fun in their own special fairy costume, which is why I created this site, and, plus, it will hopefully also keep me young. :-)
